Brittani & Tyler’s Spring Engagement Session in Newport, RI
There’s something magical about springtime in Newport — especially during Daffodil Days, when the entire city feels like it’s waking up again after winter. Brittani and Tyler’s engagement session could not have lined up more perfectly with the season. Between the ocean views, golden sunset light, and endless pops of yellow daffodils, their Newport engagement session felt like something straight out of a movie.
We started their evening at Cliff Walk near Ochre Point, one of my favorite spots for engagement photos in Newport RI. Spring had officially arrived, and the famous daffodil blooms were everywhere. The gardens and pathways were overflowing with color, creating the dreamiest backdrop for these two as they wandered hand in hand along the coastline.
One of the best parts about planning a spring engagement session in Newport RI is how much variety the area offers. Within just a short walk, you get coastal views, historic charm, beautiful architecture, and seasonal blooms all in one place. Brittani and Tyler fully embraced the slower pace of the evening — laughing together, soaking in the ocean breeze, and enjoying every little moment together before their wedding next spring.
The daffodils during Newport Daffodil Days added so much life and color to their photos. The bright yellows against the soft blues of the ocean created the perfect spring palette, and honestly, Newport in April and May is hard to beat for engagement photography. If you’re considering scheduling engagement photos in Newport RI during the spring season, this is your sign to do it.
After exploring the Cliff Walk area, we made our way over to Second Beach for sunset. The beach was calm and quiet, with the softest golden light stretching across the sand. Brittani and Tyler kicked off their shoes, snuggled up in the sand, and watched the sun disappear over the water together. It was the perfect ending to such a beautiful evening.
These two made every moment feel effortless. Their connection is so natural and genuine, and I already know their wedding day is going to be incredible. I’m beyond excited to celebrate Brittani and Tyler when they tie the knot on April 30 next year!
If you’re looking for a Newport RI engagement photographer or dreaming about your own spring engagement session in Newport RI, I cannot recommend this season enough. Between the coastal scenery, historic charm, and iconic daffodil blooms, Newport truly is one of the most beautiful places in Rhode Island for engagement photos.
